Patriots Waive RB Myles Montgomery Due to Injury
The New England Patriots have announced the waiver of running back Myles Montgomery, designating him as injured. If he clears waivers, he will revert to injured reserve and is expected to be released later with a settlement.
In a move to fill the roster spot, the Patriots have signed running back Hassan Haskins. Montgomery, who is 23 years old, began his collegiate career at Cincinnati before transferring to the University of Central Florida for his final two seasons. He joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft.
Throughout his five-year college career, Montgomery accumulated 1,546 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on 274 carries, along with 26 receptions for 257 yards and one touchdown across 41 games.
