Paul Aron to Balance Practice and Simulator Work at Monza

Paul Aron will have a busy first day during the Italian Grand Prix weekend, starting with a practice session in Pierre Gasly's Alpine at Monza and concluding with simulator work at Enstone.

As the reserve driver, Aron will take Gasly's place in the first practice session, which is part of Alpine's requirement to give inexperienced drivers track time. This marks Aron's second practice outing for the team this season, following his earlier participation in Hungary.

After completing the practice session, Aron will return to the UK to work in the simulator on Friday evening. This approach allows him to provide direct feedback from the Monza circuit, enhancing the team's ability to make setup adjustments based on real-time data. The simulator work is particularly crucial at Monza due to the energy management challenges posed by the circuit's long straights. Additionally, Aron will assist in evaluating upgrades introduced on Gasly's car, which are now also on Franco Colapinto's vehicle, ensuring both race cars are equipped with the latest specifications.
