Paul Pogba Parts Ways with Monaco After Contract Termination
Paul Pogba has departed from AS Monaco after his contract was terminated, concluding his time with the club after just one season.
The former France midfielder joined Monaco in June 2025 on a two-year contract, which was set to run until June 2027. However, the club announced that the contract ended early due to only partial achievement of the objectives agreed upon by both parties.
During his time at Monaco, Pogba played six matches, primarily coming off the bench. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the club, despite not playing as many games as he had hoped. Following a doping suspension while at Juventus, Pogba had returned to professional football in March 2025. Reports indicate that he is attracting interest from Major League Soccer, although a recent hamstring injury may delay any potential transfer.
