Paulo Costa Critiques UFC's Matchmaking Without Dana White

Paulo Costa has voiced his concerns regarding the UFC's matchmaking, stating that the organization is making errors without Dana White's involvement. The Brazilian middleweight, who has one fight left on his contract, shared his frustrations during an interview with Sexto Round, as reported by Sherdog.

After winning in April, Costa reached out to the UFC in June to discuss potential fights in July or August but was informed that no decisions had been made. He believes the promotion is missing opportunities for meaningful matchups and remarked that the absence of White has led to mistakes driven by fear and poor timing.

Costa also mentioned that he had discussions with Eddie Hearn regarding a potential management deal. He aims for his final fight to be significant and suggested that he, along with former champion Magomed Ankalaev and unbeaten Navajo Stirling, should be considered for an interim title shot in the light heavyweight division, rather than fighters coming off losses.
