Penguins Activate Kindel and Girard from Injured Reserve

The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced the activation of forward Ben Kindel and defenceman Sam Girard from injured reserve.

Kindel, who recently returned to practice following a health incident during a flight, has not played since October 19 and has recorded two points in nine games this season. Girard, who has been sidelined for three games due to a lower-body injury sustained on October 17, is a game-time decision for the Penguins' upcoming home game against Utah.

In addition to Kindel and Girard, the team is also expecting the return of Evgeni Malkin and Egor Chinakhov, who have missed recent games due to illness and injury, respectively.
