Penn State Alumni Association Welcomes Students for Fall Semester Events
As the fall 2026 semester begins at Penn State's University Park campus, the Penn State Alumni Association is organizing a series of events to welcome both new and returning students while celebrating the university's traditions.
The first event, titled Be A Part From The Start, will take place on Sunday, August 23, from 8 to 9 p.m. at Rec Hall. This high-energy celebration aims to introduce the Class of 2030 to the spirit of Penn State, featuring familiar campus figures and opportunities to learn about the Alumni Association's student organizations.
On Monday, August 24, the Alumni Association and the Blue & White Society will celebrate the first day of classes with a donut giveaway near the Obelisk. Additionally, a Blue & White Society BASH will occur on Wednesday, August 26, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Hintz Family Alumni Center, offering entertainment and information about student involvement. Spirit Shirt Pop-Ups will also be available on Fridays before home football games, providing students with limited-edition shirts. These initiatives aim to foster connections among students and the broader Penn State community.
