Penn State Basketball Teams Host 2026 'Ball At East Hall' Event
The Penn State men’s basketball team and the Lady Lions gathered at the East Halls basketball courts for a festive evening filled with basketball, pizza, and entertainment. Students had the opportunity to meet the teams they will support throughout the winter while competing against players for prizes.
The event included warmups where attendees could interact with players and obtain autographs. Notable new transfers such as Bryant Byers, Devyn Quigley, and Enjulina Gonzalez were introduced to the crowd. The Nittany Lion showcased his skills during the competition, while men’s head coach Mike Rhoades and Lady Lions coach Tanisha Wright were present to kick off the season.
The festivities culminated in a skills competition where Penn State players faced off against students for prizes, which included Adidas merchandise and free tickets to upcoming games. The first games for both teams are scheduled for November 2 at the Bryce Jordan Center, starting at 5:30 p.m.
