Penn State Chosen as Host for Imagining America Consortium
Penn State has been designated as the newest host campus for Imagining America, a national consortium that connects scholars, artists, and designers. This selection marks the university as the fourth institution to hold this role since the consortium's inception in 1999.
The partnership aims to enhance community engagement and explore the influence of art, design, and humanities on health and well-being. The decision was made by Imagining America’s National Advisory Board, which recognized Penn State's dedication to public service and engaged scholarship.
The transition will commence during the National Gathering in Davis, California, from October 23-25. The university's College of Arts and Architecture, College of the Liberal Arts, and College of Health and Human Development will spearhead this initiative.
