Penn State Football Appoints Team Captains for Purdue Matchup

Penn State football has designated Rocco Becht, Anthony Donkoh, Kooper Ebel, and Audavion Collins as team captains for their game against Purdue, as announced on Saturday afternoon.

Becht, who is the quarterback, aims to improve his performance after a challenging game against Michigan where he had two interceptions and a strip-sack, contributing to a 21-18 loss. Collins, a cornerback, has recorded eight pass breakups and 15 total tackles this season, playing a key role in the team's secondary.

Becht, Donkoh, and Ebel have held captaincy roles throughout the seven games this season, while Collins was honored as captain during the Week 4 loss to Wisconsin. The upcoming game will take place at Beaver Stadium, where Penn State faces a Purdue team known for its struggling defense.
