No. 18 Penn State football achieved a commanding 45-0 victory against Marshall in their season opener on Saturday at Beaver Stadium. The Nittany Lions improved to 1-0, while Marshall fell to 0-1.
Penn State's offense was led by quarterback Rocco Becht, who threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns. The team quickly established dominance, scoring 17 points in the first quarter.
