Penn State Hosts Events for U.S. Media Literacy Week
Penn State is celebrating U.S. Media Literacy Week from October 26 to 30 with a series of events both on and off campus.
The week-long celebration includes journalism panels, workshops, and public events, featuring student journalists hosting panels at the Bellisario Media Center and a workshop on artificial intelligence and misinformation at the Schlow Centre Region Library.
Additional activities include a hybrid workshop on digital media and respectful discourse at the Paterno Library, Lunch and Learn sessions at State College Area High School, and an interactive session on current events at Pattee Library. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Penn State has participated in this national initiative.
