Penn State Women's Hockey Drops to No. 5 in USCHO Poll

Penn State women's hockey has been ranked No. 5 in the USCHO Division I Women's Poll, as announced on Monday. The team currently holds a record of 3-3 for the season.

The Nittany Lions faced Syracuse in a recent series, losing the first game 5-4 in overtime after coming back from two separate two-goal deficits. In the second game, they secured a 4-0 victory, with Nicole Hall scoring two goals and eight players contributing points.

Currently, the team is managing the absence of key players Grace Outwater and Abby Stonehouse, who are participating in Team Canada Women’s Team Training Camp until October 14. Penn State will continue its AHA play with a home series against Lindenwood this weekend, with the Friday game scheduled for 2 p.m. and the Saturday game at noon, both available on Big Ten Plus.
