Penn State Women's Soccer Ties No. 2 Notre Dame 2-2 in Season Opener

Penn State women's soccer opened its season with a 2-2 draw against No. 2 Notre Dame at Alumni Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, on Sunday.

Despite a strong start, Penn State faced pressure from Notre Dame as the match progressed. The game concluded without a penalty awarded to Notre Dame in the final moments, allowing Penn State to escape with a tie. The Nittany Lions will next face West Virginia on August 20.
