Penn State's 2026 Family Weekend Activities Announced

As Family Weekend approaches at Penn State, families are preparing to visit their loved ones and enjoy a range of activities on campus.

The weekend kicks off on Friday and concludes on Sunday, featuring events such as the Lion Chariot pedicab tour, which offers a historical look at the campus. The tour costs $100 and accommodates two to three people, requiring a reservation with a deposit.

Other highlights include a free women's hockey game against Lindenwood, an open house for the Blue Band, and a pumpkin festival at the Arboretum with local vendors and crafts. Families can also participate in a watch party for a Penn State football game, enjoy a musical comedy performance of Sister Act, and attend a bagel brunch hosted by Penn State Hillel. Admission to various events is free, and families are encouraged to engage in the festivities throughout the weekend.
