Peter Kay to Host Fundraising Show for Teen's Heart Surgery
Comedian Peter Kay is set to perform a special show in Blackpool on September 27 to raise funds for Fin Cormack, a teenager in need of heart surgery. Fin, who is 19 and from Prenton, Merseyside, suffers from Ebstein's anomaly, a rare heart condition that has required multiple surgeries since infancy.
The Cormack family is aiming to raise £200,000 for treatment from Dr. Dearani at the Mayo Clinic in the United States. Kay was moved to organize the event after seeing Fin's story on the news and expressed his hope that the community will support this important cause.
Fin's mother, Clare Cormack, expressed gratitude for Kay's initiative, describing it as an incredible gesture. Kay is known for his charitable efforts, having previously donated profits from his tours to various causes, including cancer charities.
