Petr Yan Predicts Volkanovski Victory at UFC 333

Petr Yan has expressed skepticism about the chances of two Russian fighters emerging as champions at UFC 333 on October 24. The bantamweight champion will be the first titleholder to compete at the event, defending his title against Merab Dvalishvili in Abu Dhabi.

Following Yan's fight, the main event will feature featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski facing Movsar Evloev. Despite his national ties to Evloev, Yan has indicated a preference for Volkanovski, whom he considers a friend due to their training together in Thailand.

Yan believes that for Evloev to win, he must either submit or knock out Volkanovski, estimating the matchup as a 55/45 advantage for Volkanovski. Although Yan is contemplating a future move to featherweight, he has stated he would not challenge Volkanovski due to their friendship.
