Peyton Manning Not Pursuing Colts GM Position
Peyton Manning is not expected to pursue the general manager position with the Indianapolis Colts, according to an ESPN report. The team has not approached him about the role.
Sources indicate that Manning's current commitments, including Omaha Productions and the Manningcast with his brother Eli, would conflict with the demands of running an NFL front office. The Colts are seeking a new GM after parting ways with Chris Ballard, whose tenure saw the team finish with a 72-82-1 record and miss the playoffs since 2020.
While Manning has expressed disinterest in a GM role, he remains open to NFL opportunities that align with higher-level positions held by other former players. Manning had a successful career with the Colts, leading them to a Super Bowl victory before finishing his career with the Denver Broncos.
