PGA Tour Champions to Launch 2027 Season in Hawaii
The PGA Tour Champions is set to begin its 2027 season with consecutive events in Hawaii, following the PGA Tour's decision to discontinue its tournament in the state.
The season opener will take place at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, featuring the Sony Championship Hawaii from January 14-16, followed by the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in Ka'upulehu-Kona from January 21-23.
PGA Tour Champions president Miller Brady expressed enthusiasm for starting the season in Hawaii, a location historically associated with PGA Tour golf. The 2027 schedule includes 24 regular-season events leading to playoffs, culminating in the Charles Schwab Cup Championship at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix from November 12-14.
