Philadelphia Eagles Update: Roster Moves Following NFL Cuts

The Philadelphia Eagles, led by General Manager Howie Roseman, were active following the recent 53-man roster cuts, although they did not acquire any players through the waiver wire.

Dameon Pierce, who competed for a spot on the main roster, has been signed to the practice squad after the team chose Will Shipley as the third running back. Pierce, a former fourth-round pick, has accumulated 1,684 rushing yards over four NFL seasons.

Uar Bernard also returned to the Eagles' practice squad after clearing waivers. The seventh-round pick has been working on his transition to football, while Andre Sam has reverted to injured reserve due to a leg injury sustained in the preseason. Gabe Hall, who faced tough competition at the defensive tackle position, has been signed back to the practice squad as well. Notably, the Eagles had the highest number of players claimed off waivers in the NFL, with four players picked up by other teams.
