Pirelli Launches New Cinturato RM and RH Gravel Tires
Pirelli has unveiled its new Cinturato RM and RH gravel tires, aimed at improving performance in the fast-evolving gravel racing scene. The Italian tire manufacturer, known for its Formula 1 expertise, has developed these tires to address previous shortcomings in their gravel lineup.
The Cinturato RM and RH models feature advanced construction techniques, including a SmartEVO-GR compound and a 120 TPI casing. The RH model is designed for speed on compact surfaces, while the RM focuses on traction in rough terrain. Both tires are available in widths from 40 to 55 mm and weigh 590 g and 608 g, respectively.
During testing, both tires demonstrated strong performance across various surfaces, with the RH excelling on hardpack and the RM providing better traction on loose ground. Despite their slightly higher weight, both models offer reliability and predictable handling, making them suitable for serious gravel riders.
