Pittsburgh Steelers Sign Safety Rayshawn Jenkins

The Pittsburgh Steelers have strengthened their defense by signing safety Rayshawn Jenkins to a one-year contract. This move was confirmed by NFL insider Jordan Schultz on Saturday afternoon.

Jenkins, who played for the Cleveland Browns in the 2025 season, is now joining his fourth team in as many years. Last season, he participated in all 17 games, recording 45 tackles and one interception. His most notable performances came during the 2022 and 2023 seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he achieved over 100 tackles and multiple interceptions in each year.

Jenkins will be part of a formidable Steelers defense that includes notable players such as T.J. Watt and Jalen Ramsey. With Patrick Graham as the new defensive coordinator, the Steelers are poised to maintain their reputation as one of the top defensive teams in the NFL.
