Pogačar Dominates Stage 4 of Vuelta a España with Solo Attack

Tadej Pogačar showcased his dominance in Stage 4 of the Vuelta a España, executing a solo attack with 50 kilometers remaining during a challenging mountain stage in Andorra. This bold move allowed him to secure a 3:21 lead in the general classification.

The stage featured a total distance of 105 kilometers, including four categorized climbs that totaled over 3,000 meters in elevation. Pogačar's attack came on the second of these climbs, where he distanced himself from his competitors, ultimately cresting the climb with a 90-second advantage.

Following Pogačar, 20-year-old Belgian cyclist Jarno Widar finished second in a sprint among six riders. Primož Roglič moved to second place in the general classification, trailing Pogačar by 3:21, while Enric Mas is in third at 3:32 behind. The stage's demanding conditions and Pogačar's performance set the stage for an intense competition as the race progresses.
