Porsche Reunites Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister for Final 718 Cayman Race

Porsche has brought together Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister to compete in the final 982-generation GT4 RS Clubsport during the Nürburgring six-hour race. This collaboration marks a reunion of two of Porsche's most successful drivers, who will race in the SP10 (GT4) class.

The initiative is a joint effort between Team Porsche Heritage and Museum and Bernhard's Team 75 Motorsport. The concept has been in development for three years, beginning with discussions at Le Mans in 2023. The drivers, both brand ambassadors for Porsche, were eager to participate, with Bernhard noting their long history together.

The project also includes a documentary chronicling the final 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS from its production to its competitive debut. The race will serve as the documentary's climax, with a release planned shortly after. Despite limited preparation time, both drivers are focused on the competition, acknowledging the high level of challenge they face in the SP10 class.
