Port Adelaide's Jordon Sweet Signs Four-Year Contract Extension
Port Adelaide ruckman Jordon Sweet has signed a four-year contract extension, securing his position at the club until the end of 2030.
Sweet has had a standout season in 2026, taking on the primary ruck role under coach Josh Carr. After missing selection in Round 1, he has since played consistently alongside teammate Dante Visentini.
Sweet expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue with Port Adelaide, a club he has supported since childhood. He joined the team in 2023 after being drafted by the Western Bulldogs in 2018. Port Adelaide's list manager, Jason Cripps, praised Sweet's dedication and hard work, noting his importance to the team's midfield and his role in mentoring younger players.
