Portsmouth Secures Loan of Chelsea Winger Ryan Kavuma-McQueen
Portsmouth has completed the signing of Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, a 17-year-old winger from Chelsea, on a season-long loan.
Kavuma-McQueen, who is a product of Chelsea's academy, made his senior debut in a 7-0 FA Cup win against Port Vale. He signed a professional contract with Chelsea in January and was included in the match-day squads for several key games, including Champions League fixtures against Paris St-Germain and Ajax.
Portsmouth's manager, John Mousinho, expressed enthusiasm about the signing, noting Kavuma-McQueen's speed and versatility on the wings. The young player has been recognized for his talent, having played for Chelsea's Under-18 and U21 teams, and he recently gained attention for scoring four goals for England Under-17s in a match against Germany.
