Montagliani has a background in governance reform and was instrumental in the 2026 World Cup preparations. Al Khalifa has overseen significant growth in Asian football, while Grafstrom has become a key figure within Fifa.
Infantino's re-election is complicated by the withdrawal of support from various national associations, including those from England and Wales. The possibility of an emergency meeting to discuss Infantino's resignation has also been raised. The next president will be determined at Fifa's 77th Congress in Morocco in March, with candidates needing to declare by November 18.
