Praveen Chithravel Aims for Recovery and Olympic Gold
Praveen Chithravel, a silver medallist in triple jump at the Commonwealth Games, is focused on recovering from a blood clot in his right calf ahead of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
After a break, Chithravel has resumed training, having experienced a cramp during a take-off earlier this month. He took ten days off to rest and has since started jogging and light training, with about a month remaining before the Asian Games.
Chithravel, who holds the national record with a jump of 17.37m, expressed his desire to perform well rather than chase a specific medal color. He reflected on his journey to winning silver in Glasgow and mentioned his aspirations for the Olympics, indicating that he aims for a gold medal in the future.
