
Preston Signs Leo Leroy from Basel on Three-Year Deal
Preston North End has secured the signing of French midfielder Leo Leroy from Basel on a three-year contract.
The 26-year-old previously played in Ligue 1 for Montpellier before joining Basel, where he spent two years competing in the Swiss Super League. During his tenure, Leroy participated in both the Champions League and Europa League, contributing five goals in 93 matches while also winning the league title and the Swiss Cup.
Preston's manager, Paul Heckingbottom, expressed confidence that Leroy will add quality and experience to the team as they aim for promotion in the upcoming season. Preston will kick off their Championship campaign against local rivals Bolton on Saturday.
