Prince Naseem Hamed Predicts Moses Itauma Will Surpass Joshua and Fury
Moses Itauma is set to become Britain's second-youngest world champion if he defeats Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF heavyweight title at London's O2 Arena on Saturday. The 21-year-old, who remains unbeaten in 14 professional bouts, has been hailed by boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed as being far superior to former champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
Hamed expressed confidence in Itauma's abilities, suggesting that both Joshua and Fury would be hesitant to face him in the ring. He noted that a victory for Itauma would make him the second-youngest heavyweight champion in history, just behind Mike Tyson, and would occur one fight earlier than Joshua's title win.
Despite Hrgovic's experience as an Olympic bronze medalist and a strong record, Hamed anticipates that Itauma will find the match straightforward. He emphasized his belief in Itauma's potential to dominate the heavyweight division and defend his title for an extended period.
