Protest Against ICE Held at Penn State
A march opposing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was conducted by the People's Defense Front and Student Committee for Defense and Solidarity at Penn State on Monday evening.
Approximately 40 participants gathered at the Old Main steps, some concealing their identities while others engaged passersby in discussions. The event commenced around 7 p.m. with chants denouncing ICE and U.S. imperialism, followed by the display of a banner advocating for immigrant workers and students.
As the march progressed towards the HUB, protesters voiced their frustrations against various political figures, including President Donald Trump and local officials. The demonstration concluded back at the Old Main steps with a final speech addressing U.S. imperialism.
