PSG Reaches Agreement to Sign Ferran Torres from Barcelona
Paris St-Germain has come to a preliminary agreement to sign Ferran Torres, a forward from Barcelona, for a fee estimated at around 50 million euros (£42.7 million).
The 26-year-old player was allowed to skip training this week to finalize the transfer. Torres recently gained recognition for scoring the decisive goal in extra time against Argentina, leading Spain to victory in the 2026 World Cup final.
During the past season with Barcelona, he netted 21 goals in 49 matches and contributed three assists, playing a key role in securing the La Liga title. If the transfer is completed, Torres will join PSG as their second significant forward signing this summer, following Maghnes Akliouche's arrival from Monaco.
