Puka Nacua, a key offensive player for the Rams, left the joint practice with the Cowboys early, prompting concerns about a potential injury. Head coach Sean McVay mentioned that Nacua exited the session with the training staff, but he was uncertain about the specific reason for this.

Nacua had a standout previous season, leading the league with 129 receptions and averaging 107.2 yards per game, totaling 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns. He earned first-team AP All-Pro honors for the first time.

In addition to Nacua's situation, McVay noted that edge rusher Myles Garrett was absent from practice due to knee swelling but stated that Garrett is currently at about 85 percent and has not experienced any setbacks. The Rams are scheduled to play their first preseason game against the Chiefs on Saturday.
