PV Sindhu Advances to Final at Hylo Open Badminton Tournament

PV Sindhu secured her place in the final of the Hylo Open Super 500 badminton tournament on Saturday, continuing her strong performance. She defeated fellow Indian player Anmol Kharb in straight games, with scores of 21-13 and 21-16, completing the match in just 32 minutes.

This victory marks Sindhu's second consecutive final in as many weeks, following her runner-up finish at the French Open the previous week. During the semifinal, Sindhu utilized her attacking style and experience to maintain pressure on the 19-year-old Kharb, who had a brief lead in both games but struggled to keep up with Sindhu's consistency.

In the first game, Sindhu established a solid lead, while the second game saw Kharb initially ahead at 15-13 before Sindhu rallied to win. This match was their second encounter, with Sindhu having previously defeated Kharb at the Syed Modi India International in 2024. Sindhu aims to add another title to her career in the upcoming final.
