Quillan Salkilld Secures First-Round Victory at UFC Fight Night

Quillan Salkilld made a successful main-event debut at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, defeating Mateusz Gamrot with a rear-naked choke at 4:25 of the first round. This victory marked Salkilld's 13th consecutive win, enhancing his professional record to 13-1.

During the fight, Salkilld overcame a leg-lock attempt from Gamrot, engaging in a lengthy grappling exchange before securing the finish. Following the match, Salkilld expressed his desire for a higher-ranked opponent, aiming for a matchup within the top five of the lightweight division.

The event also featured a co-main bout where Diego Ferreira defeated Billy Quarantillo by unanimous decision, and Yadier del Valle stopped Darren Elkins in the latter's retirement fight. The UFC will return to Philadelphia next week for UFC 330.
