Quillan Salkilld to Face Benoît Saint Denis at UFC Fight Night Sydney

The UFC has confirmed that Quillan Salkilld, an emerging Australian lightweight, will take on French fighter Benoît Saint Denis in the main event of UFC Fight Night Sydney at Afterpay Arena on February 7, 2027.

Salkilld, who holds a professional record of 13-1 and is undefeated in six UFC bouts, has gained attention for his finishing ability, recently submitting Mateusz Gamrot in the first round. Meanwhile, Saint Denis, known for his aggressive fighting style, has a record of 17-4, with all his victories coming by knockout or submission.

This event marks the UFC's return to Sydney after a hiatus since 2017 and is part of a partnership with the NSW Government. Additional fight announcements are expected soon, and the prelims will feature the finals of Road to UFC Season 5, where eight prospects will compete for UFC contracts.
