Quinnen Williams Signs $105.9 Million Extension with Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have finalized a significant contract extension with defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, valued at $105.9 million over three years. This agreement positions Williams among the highest-paid players in his position within the NFL.
The deal includes $101 million in total guarantees, with $63.35 million fully guaranteed at the time of signing, marking a record for defensive tackles. Williams' average annual salary of $35.3 million places him just above Jeffery Simmons of the Tennessee Titans and below Jalen Carter of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Negotiations for this extension began during training camp, with the Cowboys taking proactive steps to secure Williams, who was previously under contract with the New York Jets until 2027. Williams, drafted third overall in 2019, has been recognized as a first-team All-Pro and has received Pro Bowl nominations for the last four seasons.
