Racing Bulls' Alan Permane Optimistic Despite Lindblad's Crash at Spanish Grand Prix

Alan Permane, the team principal of Racing Bulls, praised his team's performance during the first day of the Spanish Grand Prix, calling it an excellent day despite a crash involving driver Arvid Lindblad in Turn 13 during FP2.

Lindblad had shown promising speed in early qualifying simulations but lost control of his car and crashed into the wall. Despite this setback, he secured fourth place in the overall times. Teammate Yuki Tsunoda also managed to finish in the top ten, overcoming power steering issues throughout the day.

Permane noted that aside from the crash, the day was successful, highlighting improvements made to the car's setup. Lindblad acknowledged his mistake in the crash but remained optimistic about the team's pace and confidence heading into the next sessions, emphasizing the importance of qualifying on the new track.
