Racing Bulls Excel in Mid-Season F1 Review
After the first half of the 2026 Formula 1 season, Racing Bulls has been recognized as a standout performer among the midfield teams, achieving an unprecedented fifth place in the standings.
The team, which matched its best-ever result of sixth place in 2025, faced challenges at the start of the season due to a late start in car development and the introduction of a new power unit from Red Bull Ford Powertrains. However, an important upgrade in Montreal significantly improved their performance, allowing them to consistently reach Q3 and score double points in five races.
Racing Bulls' drivers, Liam Lawson and rookie Arvid Lindblad, have shown strong competition within the team, contributing to its success. The team principal noted that improvements in race pace and car upgrades have been crucial to their performance, although they remain aware of potential challenges from competitors like Alpine in the second half of the season.
