Rackley W.A.R. to Cease Operations After Talladega Race
Rackley W.A.R. will conclude its operations after the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday.
The team, which has participated full-time in the series since 2021, achieved a notable victory at Talladega in 2022 with driver Matt DiBenedetto. This season, they fielded the No. 26 truck driven by Dawson Sutton and also entered the No. 27 truck part-time with drivers Toni Breidinger and Kasey Kleyn.
In a statement from co-owners Curtis Sutton and Willie Allen, the team expressed gratitude for their drivers, employees, and partners, highlighting their proud moments, particularly the 2022 victory. Although their NASCAR Truck Series chapter is ending, they remain committed to their late model driver development team, which has seen nearly 50 wins since its inception in 2021.
