Rafael Leao Transfers from AC Milan to Galatasaray for €38 Million

Rafael Leao has officially left AC Milan to join Galatasaray, despite interest from Aston Villa. The transfer fee has been confirmed at €38 million ($44.1 million USD), which is below Milan's initial valuation of €50 million ($58 million USD).

Leao's contract with Galatasaray spans four years, with an annual net salary of €10 million ($11.6 million USD). This new deal nearly doubles his previous earnings at Milan, where he made €6.41 million ($7.4 million USD) annually.

Galatasaray's financial transparency is due to its status as a publicly traded company in Turkey, requiring them to disclose financial details of player transfers. Meanwhile, AC Milan is reportedly set to sign Omari Hutchinson on loan from Nottingham Forest as Leao's replacement.
