Raiders Activate Practice Window for Receiver Dont’e Thornton
The Raiders have announced that receiver Dont’e Thornton is set to return to practice after being sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Head coach Klint Kubiak revealed this update during a press conference on Wednesday.
Thornton's 21-day practice window has now been activated, allowing him to participate in team activities. He had previously been placed on injured reserve following the injury sustained early in training camp. Thornton expressed confidence in his readiness to return to the field.
In his rookie season, Thornton recorded 10 receptions for 135 yards across 15 games. Kubiak also mentioned that Jackson Power-Johnson will be practicing, while Jalen Nailor will not be participating.
