Raiders Aim to Improve Red-Zone Efficiency Against Rams
The Las Vegas Raiders are set to host the Los Angeles Rams, aiming to enhance their red-zone efficiency following a series of close losses. After starting the season with three wins, the Raiders have struggled, resulting in a 3-3 record.
Las Vegas has faced difficulties in finishing games, highlighted by their performance in the red zone, where they have scored only 12 touchdowns on 23 attempts. During their recent three-game losing streak, they converted just 4 of 10 red-zone opportunities, including a 2-for-5 showing in a narrow loss to Buffalo.
Meanwhile, the Rams, with a 2-4 record, are dealing with the absence of wide receiver Davante Adams due to injury. Coach Sean McVay expressed confidence in the team's depth to compensate for Adams' expected six- to ten-week recovery. The Rams have also faced injury challenges, including a third kicker change this season. Both teams are looking to improve their standings in the competitive NFC West.
