Raiders Conduct Tryouts for 16 Players Including Marquez Valdes-Scantling
The Las Vegas Raiders organized tryouts for 16 players on Thursday, according to the NFL’s Official Transaction Wire.
Among the participants was wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who has had a varied career since being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2018. After signing a rookie deal with the Packers, he became a free agent in 2022 and later joined the Kansas City Chiefs on a three-year contract. Following his release from the Chiefs, he had brief stints with the Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers, before joining the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad.
Valdes-Scantling's recent performance includes 10 games played in 2025, where he recorded 14 receptions for 120 yards and one touchdown.
