However, the Baltimore Ravens ultimately won the bidding war with a more lucrative offer of two first-round picks. With the Ravens no longer in contention, the Cowboys may re-enter negotiations.

Crosby, who is currently the highest-paid player on the Raiders with a cap charge of $35.79 million, could help the team target top prospects like Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith in the upcoming draft. Jeanty's injury, described as a sprained ankle, has prompted the Raiders to consider various options for his replacement. The trade deadline is set for November 10, following Week 9, raising speculation about Crosby's future with the team.
