Raiders Owner Expresses Confidence in Kirk Cousins and Team Direction

Mark Davis, the owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has expressed optimism about the team's current roster, particularly highlighting veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins. Davis noted that he has been impressed with Cousins' performance during training camp, indicating that the team is ready to rely on him this season.

The Raiders have undergone significant changes, including the hiring of Klint Kubiak as head coach and the drafting of quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick. Despite Mendoza being viewed as the future of the franchise, Davis emphasized the importance of Cousins' experience and professionalism.

Recently, Cousins was involved in a practice altercation with teammate Maxx Crosby, which led Kubiak to sit both players out of the following practice to reinforce team discipline. Davis remains confident in the team's quarterback depth, stating that they have three capable quarterbacks, including Aidan O’Connell.
