Ralf Schumacher to Undergo Surgery Following Jet Ski Accident
Ralf Schumacher sustained a shoulder dislocation during a jet ski competition hosted by Stefan Raab on German television, leading to a hospital visit where further injuries were identified.
The incident occurred at a regatta course in Duisburg, where Schumacher initially performed well in the individual Speed Duel competition, reaching the grand final. However, while competing in a team event with Raab, a crash at a buoy resulted in both falling into the water. Although they managed to get back on the jet ski, Schumacher's attempt to maneuver caused his shoulder to dislocate.
Following the accident, Schumacher received immediate medical attention, and an X-ray and MRI revealed a broken piece of bone in addition to the dislocation, necessitating a minor surgical procedure. Despite this setback, Schumacher expressed optimism about returning to his role as a pundit for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
