Rams' Aaron Donald Returns Ahead of Season Opener
Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald returned to the team on August 30, just ahead of their season opener against the 49ers scheduled for September 10 in Australia.
The key concern now is whether Donald will play and how many snaps he might take during the game. Previously, it was estimated that he could handle 30 to 40 snaps, contingent on a proper ramp-up period following his return.
In 2018, Donald also returned late but managed to participate in a significant portion of the game against the Raiders, playing 62 out of 70 defensive snaps. Although he is now eight years older, the 30-40 snap range remains a possibility. As practice continues, it is uncertain if he will be ready for Week 1 against the 49ers or if he will wait until Week 2 to play against the Giants.
