Rams Place Davante Adams and Poona Ford on Injured Reserve
The Los Angeles Rams have placed wide receiver Davante Adams and defensive tackle Poona Ford on injured reserve following injuries sustained in recent games. Adams is anticipated to be sidelined for 6-10 weeks due to a ruptured hamstring incurred during last Sunday's match against the Cardinals.
Ford, who has been dealing with a triceps injury, will miss the remainder of the season. In response to these injuries, the Rams signed kicker Brandon McManus to replace Blake Grupe, who was placed on injured reserve due to a torn ACL.
Adams has recorded 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns this season, leaving a significant gap in the team's receiving lineup alongside Puka Nacua. Meanwhile, Ford contributed 15 tackles in six games. Additionally, defensive player Kobie Turner is expected to be out for an extended period due to a groin injury, although he has not yet been placed on injured reserve.
