Rams Re-sign Kicker Joshua Karty and Long Snapper Jake McQuaide to Practice Squad

The Los Angeles Rams have re-signed kicker Joshua Karty and long snapper Jake McQuaide to their practice squad as part of efforts to improve their special teams.

Karty, who was drafted by the Rams in the sixth round in 2024, had a solid rookie season but struggled in 2025, leading to his release after missing several field goals and extra points. He spent last season with Arizona but did not play in any games.

McQuaide served as the Rams' long snapper from 2011 to 2020 and returned for the final nine games last season. Currently, Joe Cardona has been filling the long snapping role for the Rams in 2026. To accommodate the new signings, the Rams released three players from their practice squad.
