Rams Release Kicker Harrison Mevis, Sign Blake Grupe

Mevis struggled in recent games, missing a field goal and having a crucial 48-yard attempt blocked during a loss to the Bills. He also missed field goals in previous games against the Giants and Eagles.

Grupe, who previously lost his position with the Saints after missing several attempts in 2025, had a successful stint with the Colts, making all 11 field goals and 10 extra points in five games. The Rams have faced challenges with their kicking game and will need improved performance to enhance their chances of postseason contention.
